National Science Center of Poland, equivalent to US National Science Foundation, invited Dibakar Datta to review a grant proposal.
It’s a great honor to review proposal for the prestigious Polish science agency.
Dziękuję, Polsko (Thank you, Poland).
Mount Pleasant Elementary School New Jersey invited Dibakar Datta to speak about science to 4th and 5th grade students (ages 10-11 years). Some questions the kids asked :
• “I want to be the first person to land on Mars. I am only 10 years old. How should I prepare?” ![]()
• “I heard about flying cars. Will our school bus also fly? Will we come to school flying?” ![]()
• “Have you invented anything?” ![]()
• “In your opinion, what’s the greatest scientific invention of all time?” ![]()
• “Do you love what you do?” ![]()
• “I am 10 years old. How can I earn a lot of money at my age? I don’t like my parents’ spending money on me.” ![]()
God bless these smart kids …
